Penta Diesel & Mercruiser 1983-94

The Octopus Mech Remote Drive unit has a tiny 0.25Ft2 footprint and can be mounted in the most convenient location on your boat, horizontally or vertically.

Twin Engine Mercruiser from 1994

Suitable for most Mercruiser and North American built Volvo Penta Systems. The Type R remote drive system makes sterndrive installations easy for both single or dual engine systems. The installation kit simply clamps to the steering cylinder with no drilling or cutting required. Two packs are available to suit the most common Mercruiser and Volvo Penta sterndrive systems. For Older Mercruiser engines (pre 1994) use System B.
